We do restock and add pets from the Normal Pet Storehouse, but it's not common for us to have "new" pets...I don't even think we're making any new ones. XD

By the way, you can check the above link and see if there's a pet in there that you're sure you want then watch to see if it pops up in the store. ;) If you offhandedly mention that you particularly like a pet, it may just show up in the next restock! :O Strange how that happens...

Edit: Though no pets from the "Exotic" area stock into the shop. Those can only be obtained from Rare or Unique pet tickets. :D

(like the sets we have now, a type of pet and the color variations)

Any legendary or mythical creature should be exotic, not "regular," so I don't think they'd really fit either. :P I do think it's a great idea though. I understand why we've got them, but on more than one occasion I've been messaged by someone who thinks that those are the given names of the pets...so they don't know that they need to name them. I think it causes a bit more confusion than need be...I mean, we can just leave it as "cats" and "dogs" and "rodent and bat," things like that. I think it'd make things simpler for members looking for a pet, and simpler for me. At least limit the amount of confusing messages for me. :P

And actually, some of the people were genuinely convinced that those were the pets' names. Unfortunately, even people who read the rules sometimes skim some of the finer points, and even those who read them can get confused by something like that. I'm not going to fault them for not knowing for sure. I've tried to think of a simpler way to word the rules...but I really can't, so this is the only thing I could think of.

If they can't figure out that it needs to be named by them, they wouldn't be able to describe the pet to you. (If you haven't guessed already: I'm in a rather cynical mood.)

In school did they change things cause you had trouble with it? I think they would have just failed you. My fav response to morons who message me with that stuff is "The hell you talking bout?" or "Try reading the instructions." It has been this way from the start like 3 years ago, and i've grown to like it this way ^_^ give the the children something to learn......heaven forbid they learn what a category is before they turn 20.....or know what an Arachnid is! i think i knew those things by 5.....a category at 2!
